This contest is open to anyone. All entries are welcome.

Design Criteria:

Your design entry should include: A high resolution JPG or PNG of just the design image A JPG or PNG of the design placed on a t-shirt template to show the design placement. Size and garment color is not required but would be helpful. There are free online programs of your choice for T-Shirt mock-ups. The designer's signature incorporated into the design in an unobtrusive way is allowed. Submit your design online to [email protected] by the deadline of May 15, 2020.

The T-Shirt Design must be your own original, unpublished work. By entering the competition, you agree that your submission is your own work, and The Marusak Reunion has exclusive rights to use your design. Although the front of the design is primary, you may also use the back of the T-Shirt in your overall design plan. The T-Shirt is intended for adults both men and women. The design must include the words “Marusak”, “Reunion”, “Czech”, and may include any other words you would like to include in the design. So that it may be used now and in the future, please do not include the current year ”2020”. The design may include the Moravian or Czech Coat of Arms, family crest, or flags. As the designer, you get to recommend the color of the T-Shirt that you believe best compliments your design. The design can utilize as many as 3 colors. You may want to recommend a different color for men versus women or one color for both.

T-Shirt Judging Criteria:

Our contest judges will evaluate the T-Shirt design based on the following criteria: Submission meets criteria stated above Creativity and innovation Eye appeal, color and layout The judges will include representatives of the 2020 Reunion Committee.

1. Make sure your image files are high quality

This is one of the most common problems we see with t-shirt designs, and the image quality of your art can make or break the final product. We recommend images that are 200 dpi or higher at full size. Vector files (PDF, EPS, AI or SVG file types) are also design-friendly.

2. Focus on your fonts

On t-shirts, how your message looks is just as important as the words you use. No pressure, right? So carefully consider the font you want to use and how it might add or detract from what you're trying to say on your shirt.
